Saartje Dinner

In Sobibor, where everyone trembled with fear, Saartje spoke up.

Saartje was in Coenraad’s class in school. She was born in 1914 and was the daughter of Lazar Dinner. Saartje survived Sobibor and on 11 September 1947 she married Milton Miller, an American. On 13 May 1948 they left for Tel Aviv.
